I was born and raised in El Salvador, San Salvador and moved to America after graduation in the persuade for a better education, that could provide me better opportunities in the future. All through out my school career I attend a private British school; Academia Britanica Cuscatleca . I have always though that the Bristish school provided me with a solid education background as the are known for academic excellence, imposing moral values and combining both Salvadorian and British cultures. Not only did I received a great education but I had the opportunity to graduate with not only with a high school diploma but with an International Bachelors.
I am the type of person that believes that grades are not the most important element for being consider an excellent student, but I strongly believe in giving back to the community. And learning from different field of studies. All through high school I was the part of the student council and participated in several community services; these was one of the many reason I choose to come to Manhattanville College.
I am currently a Junior, that has explored different fields of studies since I first arrived. I have taken classes in political science, marketing ,dance, communications among others. After taking many different course, my goal is to graduate with a bachelors in Management with a concentration in marketing and communication. The writing for the media course is not only a major requirement for my major, but I think it would help me developed my writing skills
